A bit about me…
Hello, and welcome to my website!
My name is Gabriela Page, and I am a 21 year old student currently studying BA Journalism at the University of South Wales in Cardiff.
I have always loved writing, and it remained a passion of mine throughout my time at school. I didn’t want it to end there though, and so I started to think about what I could do with it in the future.
Over time I have found a love for photography. Capturing moments with family and friends, special occasions and from my travels. This led me to buying my first DSLR camera to take my pictures a bit further than an iPhone lens, taking it with me to events and wherever I travel around the world in the hope of capturing some memorable shots.
My combined love for writing, media and photography led me towards an interest in journalism. The idea of being able to report stories from all different kinds of life and places excited me, as well as meeting new people and hearing their tales, and has made me passionate about pursuing a career as a journalist.
As I continue to learn and explore the different types of journalism within my degree, I find myself loving it even more. I am keen to continue developing my portfolio and expand my writing horizons with every opportunity that I get.
