I was a media intern part of ‘The Big Fix Up’, a collaboration with Aardman and the Fictioneers. The Big Fix Up is an interactive app using augmented reality, featuring Aardman’s Wallace and Gromit.
Here, I created content videos in the lead up to the release of the app, sat in on team meetings with Aardman, helped with the socials for the promotion of the app and created content ideas and strategies for interactive advertising, which I pitched to the team leaders.

I was a temporary seasonal sales assistant at Lush Spa Cardiff. In a very busy and customer-friendly store, learning what happens behind the scenes of retail during Christmas. Lush is a very social and interactive shop, and I developed good relationship and communication skills with customers, as well as learning how to carry out demonstrations of products for them and providing services such as hand and arm massages for spa customers.

Breaking News correspondent during the US election
September 2020-November 2020
For the 2020 US election I was part of a 24-hour academic review livestream. 13 universities from around the world took part. It ran for 24 hours on YouTube, with different presenters and breaking news journalists taking over a total of three shifts.
I was a breaking news correspondent for the programme.
I received training from the Berlin correspondent for the BBC, Jenny Hill.
